2021 Memorial Board & Memorial Day Event Details


Memorial Board
The City is expanding the Memorial Day Reverse Parade to  incorporate Memorial Boards to remember and recognize local military members from the community. Submit a Memorial Board to remember and recognize local military members from the community. The Boards will be displayed in the windows of local businesses and at the City’s Reverse Parade for the community to read the stories about those who served. This year due to COVID-19, the City is holding a virtual Commemorative Ceremony that pays respect to those who gave their life in service of our country. 

Memorial Day Reverse Parade

10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Main Street in Mill Creek
Between 155th Street (the corner of Cold Stone) and 153rd Street (the corner of the former University Bookstore)

unifromA Memorial Day display of military memorabilia will be available for public viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Main Street and 153rd St. SE.  The public is invited to drive by and view the display while remaining in their vehicles.  Additional information will be updated as the date draws near.  Military Memorabilia items include:
  • Military Uniforms on display 
  • Eternal flame
  • Battlefield Cross
  • Wreath
