An image of the Mill Creek Farmers MarketThe City of Mill Creek will continue its summer farmers market in 2019 with some key updates. The market will move to Tuesdays, beginning June 18, with new hours running 3-7 p.m. The Mill Creek Farmers Market will continue through Aug. 20.

The farmers market again will be managed by Sarah Dylan Jensen, who has served for the last four years as the market manager for the Snohomish Farmers Market. She has developed rapport with local farmers and merchants, and has drawn on those relationships for the Mill Creek Farmers Market; vendors have already expressed a desire to be involved again this year.

“We heard extensive feedback from our customers last season that an evening market would be far more convenient to our community,” said Jensen. “With many vendors and farmers already committed to large-scale weekend markets and events, we felt that Tuesday would be an ideal day for all involved.”

Jensen plans to work with many of the same vendors from last season, while the day and time shift will hopefully attract more farm-fresh goods.

The market will remain located in the Mill Creek City Hall North parking lot at 15720 Main St. Jensen and City Staff hope to work with some local offices to provide additional parking options for market goers.

Both Jensen and City staff are excited to continue with the Power of Produce Kids Program for the duration of the market season, along with offering live music, hot food and more. “We’re hopeful that this will become the gathering place for our community on Tuesday evenings,” said Jensen.

In addition to fresh produce from local farms, the market will include artisan products from local entrepreneurs. Information about current offerings leading up to the first market and throughout the season will be available at
