These events will provide a fun evening out for the community with fun activities and games while showcasing the City’s beautiful local parks. The Lions Club will be providing food for purchase at each event.

The first of these events will be held at Buffalo Park on July 17, followed by Heron Park on Aug. 21 and Cougar Park on Sept. 18. The events will take place from 5-7 p.m.

“The event is designed to help neighbors connect neighbors and residents connect with the City in a block party setting,” said Gordon Brink, Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the City. “We enjoy being able to interact with our residents, and these events will help build a strong community spirit. So bring a picnic and spend a night in community.”

City Staff and personnel from Mill Creek Police Department and Snohomish County Fire District 7 will be in attendance. For more information about Party in the Parks, visit

The events are sponsored by Community Transit, Windermere Real Estate, Mill Creek Rotary, Mill Creek Business Association, the Goddard School, and WMST.
